I Continue To Learn My Life Lessons....
For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down- when we die and leave these bodies- we will have a home in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long for the day when we will put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. For we will not be spirits without bodies, but we will put on new heavenly bodies. Our dying bodies make us groan and sigh, but it's not that we want to die and have no bodies at all. We want to slip into our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by everlasting life.
2 Corinthians 5:1-4 (NLT)
So, what is this page about?
It's about FAITH.... Staying strong in our Source.... Believing that all things occur for a purpose.... and that eventually God will reveal to us everything that we need to know. We will understand and learn our life lessons.
I recently read a book titled "90 Minutes in Heaven" by Don Piper. The suffering he went through in his journey of struggling, pain and learning to cope- are very simular to what I continue to go through now. Our situations were brought about by very different circumstances. Don was involved in a horrible accident where his car was hit by a semi. He died and spent 90 minutes in heaven before being brought back to his human body & life here on earth. His story is an extremely emotional one and I highly recommend it for anyone who needs confirmation of the afterlife. It also is an excellant read for people struggling with daily physical and emotional pain.
He wrote a chapter called "MY NEW NORMAL". When I read it I realized that I need to accept "MY NEW NORMAL". Things happen that we don't understand and we long for answers and wonder why we can't go back to being the way we were. God has a plan for all of us and while I believe that we need to do all that we can to heal and improve our lives, sometimes things will never go back to what was once a normal life for us. We need to accept our lives as they are now and praise God for allowing us to find our "NEW NORMAL" and live it to the fullest.
