Reiki is a Japanese technique that promotes relaxation and healing through the "laying on of hands".  The word REIKI is made up of two words.  Rei - meaning God's wisdom or the higher power  and Ki - meaning life force energy.  So the practice of Reiki is the use of Spiritual life force energy. It is a Spiritual but not a religious practice. Reiki treats the whole person - body, emotions, mind and Spirit creating benefits including relaxation, feelings of peace, balance, well being and pain relief.  Many have reported miraculous results.  It has been effective in helping every known illness and malady. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and aid in recovery. Reiki can be practiced in contact with the client or can be performed from a distance. I am a Reiki Master having received 3 levels of training.
